The scope of this project was to replace the existing flame-arrester, vacuum and overpressure safety locks on storage tanks and filling points. The existing design from the 1990s no longer corresponded to modern standards. The work was carried out during operation without any restrictions on the refinery’s operation. This was a highly dangerous activity.
